Pat Cummins who was in highlight for his brilliant performance after KKR’s match against CSK failed to perform today. KKR lost its top order early, Kartik and Russel couldn’t do much. All eyes were on Pat Cummins to give a good finish to KKR and bring KKR back into the match as he did in the previous match.
Unfortunately, unlike the previous match, Pat Cummins failed to provide a good finish to KKR. Pat Cummins scored 10 runs off 6 balls. His inning included 1 six of the last over. But the team needed few more sixes from him from that last over.
It is to be noted that Cummins batted brilliantly in the previous match against CSK. She even smashed 30 runs in a single over of Sam Curran. He almost brought KKR back into that match. The same was expected from him today as well. But he could not do much.
Top order’s poor performance is becoming a matter of concern for KKR. Finishers cannot bring KKR back into the match every day. Let’s see if KKR could win it today despite scoring a low total against Rajasthan Royals.
