On Friday it was CSK vs PBKS and what we saw was completely exceptional by Deepak Chahar and Unexpected from Punjab Kings. In a one-sided match, Chennai Super Kings completely dominated Punjab and Chased down the target of 106 runs comfortably. CSK defeated Punjab by 6 wickets and in just 15.4 overs!

Playing first Punjab Started off the inning like a nightmare as they lost their first wicket on just 1 run with Mayank Agarwal scoring a two-ball duck and very soon the skipper KL Rahul was run out by Ravindra Jadeja’s outstanding throw! Then the team completely collapsed as they lost their wickets one by one and Shahrukh Khan was the only player who showed some intent to fight.

Shahrukh scored 47 runs off just 36 balls and led Punjab to a bit respectable total of 106 runs with 6 wickets down.

CSK came down to chase a small total and in spite of losing Rituraj Gaikwad early comfortably chased down the target. Moen Ali and Faf Du Plessis added 64 runs for the second wicket and built the foundation for CSK’S win and  Moen Ali who got out on 46 off just 31 balls. After Ali, Raina and Rayudu went too early but in the end, Sam Curran finally lead the team to win.

It was CSK’s day and they showed why they are one of the most dominant teams since IPL began. Deepak Chahar was the Hero of CSK’s victory who bowled brilliantly in his 4 overs by giving just 13 runs and taking 4 wickets with an economy of 3.3 per over.
