Mumbai Indians, after a not-so-special start to their campaign this season, registered their first victory of the season in their second match from an unlikeliest of situations.
After the conclusion of the match, in which MI reigned supreme, Suryakumar Yadav and Trent Boult had an interactive session for IPL in which they asked questions to each other regarding their performances.
Suryakumar was the first one to ask here and he asked Boult about bowling a crucial last over and defending 15 runs. Boult said that he felt butterflies grumbling inside his stomach as he bowled the deciding over to KKR’s Andre Russell and Dinesh Kartik. Boult asked next to SKY, about the mammoth 99-meter six that he smashed earlier in his innings to bring up his 50. SKY responded with the reason for shots, that he has played a lot in cemented tennis ball cricket and also pinched Boult as one of the inspirations behind shots like that.
Suryakumar Yadav was then asked by Boult for his approach for any innings that he plays as a no.3 batsman to which Suryakumar Yadav replied citing the approach that Boult does when he has to defend 10-15 runs, that he keeps things simple on hand. Then there were some Hindi Chitter-chatter between the New Zealander and Suryakumar Yadav

MI beat KKR by 10 runs, in what looked like a losing affair, at once for MI. Boult bowled a superb last over, in which he defended 15 runs for his team, and before that, Suryakumar Yadav’s fantastic knock sealed a good total on hands for the Mumbai Indians.
