The Indian Premier League of 2021 had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 scare among players. Now, it is just a few days away! The Indian Premier League begins on 19th September. All preparations for the same are underway. It is to be noted that a fully vaccinated crowd will be allowed to watch the match from the stadiums. The match officials have also tried to do their best to keep the bio-bubble secure with stringent measures. Royal Challengers Bangalore are in a good spot and interestingly have done well for the first phase of the league. Yuzvendra Chahal, the senior bowler shares his insight on the preparations in UAE.
Firstly, Yuzvendra Chahal did not have a very good first phase. He has not been able to take as many wickets. Secondly, after the Sri Lankan tour Chahal tested positive for COVID-19. After his recovery and in the RCB training session he shared “Obviously, the feeling was good. The heat was okay, I am happy with the way I bowled. I am pumped up, we are in a good position in the points table and we have a very good chance to stay at the top of the table. When you bowl well in the nets, you always feel good. I can say that the old Yuzi is back,”
Best of luck to team Royal Challengers Bangalore and Yuzvendra Chahal for the upcoming remainder of the season!
