Jasprit Bumrah, who has been out since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, was declared fit and joined the MI squad on April 6 after finishing his rehab at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. Will Bumrah Play Against RCB?

MI coach Mahela Jayawardene spoke about Bumrah during the press conference and confirmed that the pacer should be available for the match against RCB. He mentioned that Bumrah had completed sessions with the NCA and bowled well in the nets.

“He’s available, he’s training today, and should be available [for the RCB game]. He arrived last night. He had his sessions with NCA [now Centre of Excellence] to finalise that, he’s been handed over to our physios. He’s bowling today, so all good,” Jaywardene said in the pre-match press conference.

Bumrah has a strong record against RCB, having taken 29 wickets in 19 matches with an average of 19.03.
