GT vs SRH, IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans bounced back to winning form with a 38-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025 at Ahmedabad. Prasidh Krishna’s superb bowling, along with strong performances from Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler, helped GT post a big total of 224/6.

IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans’ Dominant Win Over Sunrisers Hyderabad

With this win, GT improved their chances of making the playoffs, while SRH’s hopes were nearly dashed. GT’s top order fired as Gill scored 76 off 38 balls, Buttler made 64 off 37 balls, and Sudharsan added 48 off 23 balls. The three of them built a solid 87-run opening partnership.

In reply, SRH had a strong start but couldn’t keep up the momentum and finished at 186/6. Abhishek Sharma was the top scorer for SRH with 74 runs off 41 balls. Prasidh Krishna was excellent with the ball, taking 2/19 in 4 overs.

GT started their innings aggressively, with Gill hitting a six off the first ball and Sudharsan smashing five boundaries in one over. Although SRH captain Pat Cummins tried to fight back, Gill continued his attack, including a big six off Cummins. GT scored 82 runs in the powerplay, with no risks taken, just smart cricket.

SRH introduced spin, and Zeeshan Ali took a crucial wicket by getting Sudharsan caught. Gill reached his half-century with a stunning cover drive. Buttler also contributed, hitting a six and crossing 4000 IPL runs. However, SRH’s troubles continued when Cummins dropped Gill on 66, and Gill was later run out after a mix-up.

Despite the setbacks, GT’s total was too much for SRH to chase, and the match was firmly in their hands.
