During the IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede Stadium, a heartwarming moment occurred in the commentary box. During the 11th over of MI’s chase, former cricketer and commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu shared his admiration for Irfan Pathan, a former Indian all-rounder, and mentioned how much he missed him.

Pathan, who isn’t part of the IPL 2025 commentary team, received a sweet message from Sidhu. Fans also showed their disappointment that Pathan wasn’t included in the commentary panel by JioHotstar. Sidhu and Pathan had previously worked together in the broadcasting team, forming a popular and entertaining duo that many fans enjoyed.
“Irfan kitna achha ladka hai, ussey abhi bohot miss karta hu,” Sidhu said on air during the Hindi commentary.

Irfan Pathan was quick to notice the video and come up with a reply to it. He replied with a sweet message, “I miss you too Paaji, lots of love n respect,” he wrote on X.
