Nitish Kumar Reddy was frustrated with himself after getting out in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

He came in to bat early after SRH lost two quick wickets. In the third over, Shardul Thakur took back-to-back wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan, putting SRH under pressure.

Nitish Kumar Reddy’s Frustration After Getting Out in SRH vs LSG Match

Nitish Kumar Reddy came in to bat after Kishan’s dismissal. He and Travis Head then put together a 61-run partnership before Head was out for 47. Following that, Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen added 34 runs together before Klaasen was run out for 26.

With most of the senior batters back in the pavilion, it was up to Nitish Reddy to anchor the innings and help his team post a big total. However, he couldn’t stay until the end and was bowled out by Ravi Bishnoi in the 15th over.

On the first ball of the over, Ravi Bishnoi bowled a length delivery on the middle stump, and Reddy tried to loft it. Unfortunately, he missed, and the ball hit the stumps, sending him back after scoring 32 runs off 28 balls.

Reddy was visibly upset with himself for losing his wicket and didn’t hold back his frustration. The cameras captured him throwing his helmet in anger as he walked up the stairs to the dressing room.

Meanwhile, talking about the game SRH finished their innings with a competitive total of 190/9 in 20 overs. Aniket Verma played a stunning cameo, scoring 36 runs off just 13 balls, including five sixes, to boost the total. For LSG, Shardul Thakur was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets for 34 runs.
