Delhi Capitals (DC) suffered their second straight loss in IPL 2025, falling to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). This loss could make things difficult for DC as they fight for a spot in the playoffs, with the tournament nearing its final stages.
DC’s Second Consecutive Loss in IPL 2025
In the 48th match of IPL 2025, DC lost to KKR by 14 runs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday, April 29.

Upcoming Matches: DC’s Road to the Playoffs
To make the playoffs, DC needs to win at least two of their remaining four matches. Three wins will guarantee a spot, but losses will make it harder. If they win just one more game, they’ll have 14 points, and their playoff chances will depend on net run rate and other match results.
DC’s next match is against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 5th May in Hyderabad, followed by games against Punjab Kings on 8th May and Gujarat Titans on 11th May.
