IPL 2025: RCB faced PBKS on Friday, 18th April, in the 34th match of IPL 2025 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The rain-shortened 14-over game ended in a solid win for Shreyas Iyer’s Punjab Kings.
Batting first after losing the toss, RCB struggled as both openers, Phil Salt and Virat Kohli, got out early. Captain Rajat Patidar scored 23, but wickets kept falling. Tim David’s unbeaten 50 rescued the innings, taking RCB to 95/9. Arshdeep, Jansen, Chahal, and Brar took two wickets each for PBKS.
In reply, Punjab had a decent start but lost quick wickets. With the score at 32/2 and pressure mounting, Nehal Wadhera (33*) played a calm, match-winning knock, guiding PBKS to victory with five wickets in hand.
