Shubman Gill led his team from the front as he walked out with his bat with all guns blazing and started smashing his old friends at KKR to all the corners of the ground right from the start of his innings. He gave his team a flying start and slammed another stunning fifty in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League.
Shubman Gill came out with an attacking mindset and took on the Kolkata Knight Riders’ bowlers from the very beginning. The Gujarat Titans captain played both spin and pace effortlessly, showing great timing, placement, and quick running between the wickets.
He reached his half-century in just 34 balls – his third fifty of the season. After that, he shifted gears and scored rapidly, helping GT post a strong total.

Rinku Singh’s Stunning Catch Ends Gill’s Knock
Gill looked set for a century, but his innings was cut short thanks to a brilliant fielding effort by Rinku Singh. In the 18th over, Vaibhav Arora bowled a low full toss. Gill tried to flick it over midwicket but didn’t get enough power. Rinku Singh ran in from deep midwicket and dived forward to take a fantastic catch, making it a memorable moment.

Meanwhile, Gill received a standing ovation on his way back to the dressing room. Fans at the Eden Gardens and his teammates, everyone applauded for his young talent after his knock.
