A Debut to Remember: First Ball, First Six

Despite it being his first-ever IPL match, Vaibhav Suryavanshi showed no signs of nervousness. He batted with great confidence, and it looked like he was on track to score a half-century on debut. Unfortunately, his innings came to an early end.

In the 9th over, on the fourth ball, Aiden Markram bowled a slower delivery that turned away sharply. Vaibhav tried to play it towards the leg side but missed the ball completely. As he stepped forward, he lost a bit of balance, and the ball went past the leg stump. Rishabh Pant was quick to react and stumped him out. His back foot was in the air, and Lucknow Super Giants got their first breakthrough.
