David Warner, the captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), was the first international player in the history of the Indian Premier League to reach 5000 runs and the fastest 6000 runs surpassing Virat Kohli in the last IPL. Warner reached out and touched the historic number while the squad was playing against the Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. Overall, Warner has become only the fourth batsman in the league’s history to hit more than 5000 runs.
