Kevin O’Brien

In September 2019 and called into Ireland’s squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the United Arab Emirates. Stirling is the opening batsman for the Ireland cricket team and an infrequent right arm off break bowler. He is one of the highest 10-run scorers in T20 internationals. Stirling was the team’s highest run-scorer, with 209 from five matches. In September 2021, Stirling was anointed in Ireland’s provisional squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Andrew Balbirnie

Andrew Balbirnie is a capable middle-order batsman who’s a creation of Ireland. Under-19s and captained the squad in the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, Balbarnie was the find of the World Cup for Ireland, appearing as the third-highest run-scorer for his team with 236 runs. He made his existence handled with a determined knock of 97 against Zimbabwe in Hobart and demonstrated himself as an essential cog in Ireland’s spin. He kept churning out runs in all three forms. Ed Joyce
