Juventus defeats Salernitana 3-0 thanks to two goals from Dusan Vlahovic

Dusan Vlahovic’s two goals and one assist helped Juventus beat Salernitana 3-0 in Serie A on Tuesday.
The guests rise to the tenth spot in the standings with this victory.
Serbian player Vlahovic, who has had a difficult year with injuries but started his first league game since October, marked a return to form in the contest.
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri told DAZN: “You can see physically, he just moves better, looks sharper, and he also played well on a technical level today.”
After 26 minutes, Hans Nicolussi fouled Manuel Locatelli inside the penalty area, earning Juventus a penalty that Vlahovic converted.

In the 37th minute, Vlahovic came close to scoring again, but his drive from the edge of the box at an acute angle missed the post by a whisker.
On the cusp of halftime, Filip Kostic doubled the advantage by tapping the ball in from close range after Vlahovic’s original shot had unintentionally assisted him by deflecting into his path.
When Locatelli made an unmarked run into the area for Juventus in the final seconds before halftime, Salernitana goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa parried Locatelli’s attempted lob.

Eighty seconds into the second half, Vlahovic scored again after breaking through in the box and smashing the ball low into the right corner.
Junior Sambia’s cross from Salernitana in the 51st minute nearly gave the visitors a chance to equalise, but striker Boulaye Dia was unable to reach in time to put the ball in the back of the net.
“The team responded well, and we played well for the full 60 minutes, but after going up 3-0, we were a little too relaxed and let up too many shots on goal.

The players realise we must definitely improve since we were immobile in our places and didn’t move around enough, Allegri stated.
We tended to pass it too much down the right during the first 10 minutes, so we need to smooth out our passing, be more fluid, and keep it simple.
When Moise Kean hit the post late in the game and Angel Di Maria hit the crossbar after 53 minutes, Juve had a chance to increase their lead but were stopped by the woodwork.

With the win, Juventus now has 26 points after 21 games, while Salernitana is in 16th place with 21 points.
