KL Rahul Achieves Major Milestone in IPL History

Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul reached the 200 sixes mark in the IPL during the match against Gujarat Titans on Saturday, 19th April, at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Batting at number three, he looked in great form and hit his 200th six off Mohammed Siraj on the third ball of the third over.

Mohammed Siraj bowled a full-length ball angled in, and KL Rahul cleared his front leg and lofted it over long-on for a big six. He didn’t go for power, but timed it well while holding his shape.

KL Rahul hit his 200th six in his 129th innings. The record for the fastest 200 sixes in the IPL is held by Chris Gayle, who reached the milestone in just 69 innings. Andre Russell is second with 97 innings, while AB de Villiers and David Warner also feature in the top five.
