As the transfer market is about to commence for this season, news and updates regarding Jules Kounde are all set blazing. The 23-year-old French center-back is a very talented player who plays on the right-hand side of the defense. Kunde’s addition to the Sevilla squad has made them a very strong force in Spain. The Frenchmen was the center of attraction for many clubs this window and was also discussed amongst the top-flight clubs across Europe.
Kounde was being heavily linked with Real Madrid after Ramos’s departure as the Whites from Spain needed a top-notch center back who could fill the void left by Madrid’s captain. Rumors arose but weren’t successful as Sevilla was asking for a price way higher than Madrid’s budget. So this resulted in Jules Kounde still playing for Sevilla.
A couple of weeks later sunder interest from Chelsea showed up as Fabrizio Romano tweeted that Roman Abramovich, the Russian billionaire, and Chelsea’s owner wants Kounde in his team. Chelsea who already has an excellent backline wants to add Kounde to provide solidarity in defense. Negotiations about the asking price are taking place for the Kounde deal, if the negotiations managed to take place in time Kounde could be playing for the blues from this existing season onwards.
