On Friday, May 23, Krunal Pandya from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Ishan Kishan from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) shared a funny moment.
This happened during the 65th match of IPL 2025 between RCB and SRH at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Funny Moment Between Krunal Pandya and Ishan Kishan
Ishan Kishan started IPL 2025 with a great century for Sunrisers Hyderabad but then struggled and lost confidence. However, he bounced back with a strong performance against RCB, scoring 94 not out from 48 balls with 7 fours and 5 sixes.
During his innings, Kishan had a funny moment with Krunal Pandya in the 14th over. After Kishan took a double to reach his 50, Krunal stopped his delivery and playfully charged at Kishan, who smiled at the funny gesture.

Pat Cummins’ Thoughts After the Match
During the post-match presentation, Pat Cummins said he was not fully happy with his team because they played well, but “a little bit too late” in IPL 2025. Pat Cummins said:
“Little bit too late this season but good allround effort with both bat and ball. Now that Nitish is back bowling, does feel like we’ve a genuine sixth bowler. Abhishek’s always telling me that he’s a good option and I should use him.”
Pat Cummins praised Ishan Kishan for his amazing performance and said they had misread the pitch.
“So much power for someone who’s not as tall as some others (talking about Kishan). We actually misread the wicket. Thought it might have been a 170 wicket, and then all the batters came back and said it’s a really good wicket and to keep going.”
In the end, Pat Cummins praised Eshan Malinga, saying he has been one of the best players for SRH this IPL season. He said:
“He’s been great (Malinga). Wherever you bowl him, he’s taken wickets. He’s got plenty of tool – the fast yorker and the great dipping slower ball. Has been a find this season.”
