Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2025: Riders To Watch

Tadej Pogacar will be eyeing his third title at Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2025. He will compete in the Belgium race having won La Flèche Wallonne on Wednesday (April 23).

The rainbow jersey holder lost at both Paris-Roubaix and the Amstel Gold Race, finishing second each time this year. A win at Liège-Bastogne-Liège would restore his confidence.

Home favourite Remco Evenepoel is set to give a stiff competition to the Slovenian. Evenepoel came second at La Flèche Wallonne 2025 behind Pogacar and was third at the Amstel Gold, just trailing him.

Interestingly, Pogacar and Evenepoel shared the titles in the past four editions.

Meanwhile, the women’s defending champion Grace Brown is coming out of retirement after winning the Olympic time trial gold in 2024.

Two-time winners Demi Vollering and Anna van der Breggen are both expected to feature in the race alongside the Olympic road race champion Kristen Faulkner and world road race champion Lotte Kopecky.
