Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Update on international esports competition

Ligue 1 Uber Eats has reported that after more than two months of preliminary rounds, the eLigue 1 Tour, a universal esports competition for FIFA 21, is set to commence. The competition was open to fans over the world, with its preliminary rounds making stops in Brazil, Ivory Coast, Japan, Morocco, Qatar, and Joined together the United States of America.

The six players that were delegated champions of their nation will compete for the universal title amid the eLigue 1 Visit Finals, with the event held in France at the starting of another season. Launched in January 2021, over 3,000 diverse members competed within the capability stage of the competition over the 6 nations, agreeing to the release. Mathieu Ficot, Delegate CEO of LFP commented: “The eLigue 1 Visit completes the universal advancement technique of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, one of the needs of the LFP and its clubs. With this beginner esport competition on EA SPORTS FIFA 21, we need to reach out to the greatest number of fans overseas and increment the mindfulness of Ligue 1 Uber Eats in an inventive way, by adjusting to modern utilization patterns.”

Ligue de Football Professional, the organizers, relied on esports marketing agency Freaks 4U Gaming to take charge of the overall management of the competition, as well as being involved in the event’s operations, regulations, communication, and production.

Samy Ouerfelli, Head of New Business at Freaks 4U Gaming added: “By accompanying the LFP on the eLigue 1 Tour, Freaks 4U Gaming is contributing its know-how in piloting international products, enabling sports players to help them in their desire to diversify digitally to a new audience.”

Esports Insider says: The eLigue 1 Tour looked to provide more international esports opportunities for fans and following the conclusion of its qualifications, the football league has somewhat achieved that. To have over 3,000 participants across six countries is an impressive starting figure. If the finals are a success, there is certainly the possibility that this competition will be expanded to include more regions.
