With the cancellation of the Indian Premier League 2021, all the players have started returning to their homes. Since there were a lot of overseas players stuck in India because of the ongoing crisis, arrangements are being made for sending them back too.
Later on Thursday Australian commentator Lisa Sthalekar also left the country. Lisa was here in India for IPL 2021 but was leaving because of the ongoing crisis of COVID-19.
Lisa took to Twitter to address her departure and also mentioned that she had a heavy heart while leaving the country and would surely support it in whatever way she can.
She said, “I left India today with such a heavy heart!! I know you are all hurting. I will do everything I can to support you and I will be back as soon as I can, standing beside you once again. #incredibleindia #staystrong #youarenotalone”
