Trent Alexander Arnold and midfielder Thiago Alcantara will miss the match for the reds. The English man suffers from a groin injury and the Spaniard is out with a calf injury. Meanwhile, youngster Harvey Elliott is another absentee through a long-term ankle injury.
James Milner is expected to replace Alexander Arnold in the right-back slot. Alexander Arnold could be a huge miss for the Reds in the game. Since the right-back is the player has created more chances in the league than any other player this season. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah’s fiery start to the season will be a huge plus for Liverpool.

Manchester City does not have any new injury concerns. Midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko remain on the sidelines with thigh and calf injuries respectively.
