Man United get their first win of the season

English Premier League’s one of the biggest clash i.e. Manchester United vs Liverpool was played at Old Trafford on Monday night, 23rd August. This was one of the high intensity game so far. Manchester United had their first win of the new Premier League season. Their first win of the season came against the big giants Liverpool FC.

Erik ten Hag finally got his first win as Manchester United manager in the Premier League. The manager was happy with the performance last night. Jurgen Klopp’s men are still finding their first win of the season as they have drawn 2 and lost 1 in the three games they played so far. Manchester United had a worst start to the season as they got beaten by Brighton in the first week and Brentford in the second.

Manchester United scored two goals in this game. Jadon Sancho scored the opener in the 16th minute. It was a deserving lead by Manchester United in that half. Liverpool started the second half well but ended up conceding another in the 53rd minute when Marcus Rashford scored with an exquisite finish. Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah did pull one back in the 81st minute but it wasn’t enough for them to take three points from the game.
