Manchester United draw with Leeds, gets further behind Manchester City

Leeds United played Manchester United at home in a much-anticipated match. United started the match with most of it’s first team members except Pogba and Cavani on bench. Both teams played with almost equal amount of possession but United hit 16 shots in comparison to 6 of Leeds. United were not able to find the net against Leeds despite some good chances.

At 20th minute Leeds created a great chance as Harrison curled a cross into the box for Bamford but Luke Shaw just behind him cleared it. The ball hit Luke Shaw’s arm which led to a controversial decision by VAR as Leeds and company believed that the arm was in an unnatural position and they should have been awarded a penalty.

Ayling in the 37th minute fouled Rashford and was booked for the challenge. Rashford took the free kick from 25 yards out and hit it with pure power in the upper left corner. Leeds goalkeeper though made an unbelievable save and kept Leeds in the game.

United and Leeds both got a couple of more chances but both teams missed out on them and the game ended ,Leeds United 0-0 Manchester United. United drawing with Leeds puts them 10 points behind City, who now only need 2 wins out of 5 to lift the Premier League title
