Marcus Rashford has returned to training but is not yet a match fit.

Solksjaer on Marcus Rashford,

“We’ve got to decide on him. Marcus trained fully for the first time today with contact. A few tackles were flying in on him and he seemed okay, which was nice to see.

Marcus is fit, he’s worked hard, but he’s not had any contact [until now].

If his shoulder can take the contact now, he should be ready after the internationals.”

Meanwhile, Luke Shaw who also missed the game against Villareal due to a combination of illness and injury is also a doubt for the Everton fixture.

Manchester United will look to bounce back from last week’s setback against Villa. It was their first league loss of the season. United come into the game sitting in the fourth spot.

The Toffees are level on points with Manchester United in the league and currently sit in the fifth spot.

Rafa Benitez’s men have had an impressive start to the season winning four of their first six matches in the league.

However, Everton faces their first stern test of the campaign in Manchester United. They would look to put on a good performance against their opponents.

Rafa Benitez in his press conference confirmed that he will be missing four of his regular starters against United.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Seamus Coleman have both been out in recent weeks with thigh injuries and, while they have resumed training, they are not yet fit enough for first-team football.

Richarlison and Andre Gomes have also been ruled out of contention.

Meanwhile, Alex Iwobi, Jordan Pickford, and midfielder Jean-Pierre Gbamin could return to action for Everton.
