Shooting has been India’s 2nd best sport at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 with a haul of 5 medals till now. Both the medals from P4 – Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 Final are included in this. Manish Narwal bags India’s 3rd gold, while Singhraj Adhana clinches his 2nd medal at Tokyo Paralympics 2020.

The 19-year-old shooter Manish Narwal with a total score of 218.2 points set a Paralympic Record and claimed the top spot as his fellow compatriot Singhraj Adhana took silver with a 216.7 total score at the Asaka Shooting Range. Whereas, the bronze went to Sergey Malyshev from the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) on Saturday.

For the 39-year-old Singhraj Adhana, this was his 2nd medal at Tokyo as he had earlier won a bronze in P1 – Men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 on 31st August 2021.

Hence, this was the 3rd time when the Indian National Anthem was played at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.

As a result, India’s medal tally touches 15; with 3 Gold, 7 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals. With more to follow as Day 11 is still not over yet, as few medal events are taking part later today.
