Shang Juncheng
Shang Juncheng, who has competed at the 2024 Next Gen ATP Finals, is off the tour after undergoing surgery on his right foot. He participated in the Hong Kong Tennis Open but left the match midway through the semifinal against Kei Nishikori due to illness.
Markéta Vondroušová
Former Wimbledon champion Markéta Vondroušová skipped the 2025 Indian Wells Open. Although she played at the Dubai Open, losing to champion Mira Andreeva, she has still missed out on the Miami Open.
Kei Nishikori
Former Miami Open finalist, Kei Nishikori withdrew before his opening match citing a back injury. He told his fans on social media that his body has not fully recovered from the previous matches.
