Mohinder Amarnath Bhardwaj was born in India on September 24, 1950. He used to play cricket and now works as an analyst and actor for cricket. He could be one of the best batsmen or the worst just as quickly and often. His wide blade could bravely carry the country’s hopes against the most dangerous enemies or signify strange failures and despair. Mohinder Amarnath’s international cricket career ebbed and flowed strangely for 19 years. He was unafraid to hook the fastest West Indian bowlers in their backyard. He scored nearly 600 runs in five Caribbean Tests at an average of 66.44. In Indian cricket, Amarnath is almost always synonymous with guts, determination, and spirit. He is also the face on the picture of Kapil Dev holding the Prudential Cup, the tournament that changed Indian cricket forever. He was named Man of the Match in both the semi-final and the final, showing how important he was to the win.
