Former England’s spinner Monty Panesar expressed his views on regarding the same. In an interview with Sports Yaari YouTube Channel, Panesar said ”  “IPL shouldn’t be held in England in September because it will rain a lot there. Too many intervals will spoil the fun. When it rains in England, it plays spoilsport.”

He further told Sports Yaari YouTube channel that ” “You will see an important T20 match get reduced to 15 overs and then 10 overs. We don’t want that to happen with IPL because the brand will take a hit.”

Notably, there are no official statements on hosting of remaining season of IPL as of now from neither BCCI or any concerned authorities. But it is believed that BCCI may plan to conduct IPL amid September and October.
