Álex Márquez is a Spanish motorcycle racer for the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team. He was born on 23 April 1996 and has won the Moto3 world title in 2014 and the Moto2 world title in 2019 before moving up to MotoGP. In the Thailand Grand Prix at the Buriram circuit, he raced well and finished on the podium, coming second behind his brother Marc Márquez in the season-opening Thai race. Márquez continues competing strongly in the 2026 season. 

Pedro Acosta’s and MotoGP Thailand Grand Prix 2026

Pedro Acosta is a young Spanish motorcycle racer born on 25 May 2004 who now races in MotoGP for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team. He has already stood on MotoGP podiums and won world titles in Moto3 and Moto2 before moving up. In the Thailand motorcycle Grand Prix at Buriram, he showed strong pace but finished 19th after a crash during the race. Acosta is expected to keep improving through the 2026 season.
