Avesh Khan claimed three wickets and conceded just 15 runs in an awesome performance.

Mumbai Indians lost their seventh match of this season as Delhi capitals beat them by four wickets. Mumbai posted a total of 129 onboard and valiantly took the game until the last over of the second innings. Ravichandran Ashwin repaid Krunal Pandya’s favor as he sent the left-arm spinner’s delivery to the stands to seal his side’s victory.

The defending champions are having a horrible second phase in this season losing four of their five games. They have 10 points on board and now have no control over their fight for a playoff spot and depend on other results.

Shreyas Iyer played a crucial inning for Delhi Capitals as he stabilized their chase despite wickets falling around him. The 26-year-old played beautifully along with Ravichandran Ashwin to take the Capitals over the line.

Ravichandran capped off his cameo inning with a six off the first ball of the final over of the innings. The off-spinner repaid Krunal Pandya in full after the Mumbai Indians’ allrounder hit a six-off Ashwin to take his team to 129.
