KL Rahul has been selected India's vice captain for the Test series against South Africa.

Indian cricket team opener KL Rahul has completed his surgery in Germany. The surgery was successful as he himself gave this information to his fans via his official Twitter handle. KL Rahul had a groin injury just before the 5-match T20I series between India and South Africa. He (KL Rahul) was named captain for this series but after his injury, wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant led the side.

It was very tough days for KL Rahul as because of his injury he wasn’t selected for the 5th rescheduled Test against England at Edgbaston which is starting on 1st July. Indian fans is surely going to miss KL Rahul as he batted well in the first 4 games of this 5-match Test series last year. BCCI confirmed earlier this month that KL Rahul will not travel to England with the Indian test squad for this 5th rescheduled Test match against England and instead he will go to Germany for his treatment.

“Hello everyone. It’s been a tough couple of weeks but the surgery was successful. I’m healing and recovering well. My road to recovery has begun. Thank you for your messages and prayers. See you soon,” tweeted KL Rahul after his surgery.
