Napoli beats Fiorentina

Napoli, the table leader, came from behind to beat Fiorentina away from home. Fiorentina before this match had only one win at home against Napoli in their last twelve meetings. La Viola was intent on changing that as the home side took a lead in the 28th minute of the game. Lucas Martinez Quarta opened the scoring from a corner kick.

However, 10 minutes later Napoli leveled the scoring after Insigne’s saved penalty fell kindly for Lozano in the penalty area. Amir Rahmani scored the winning goal for the table-toppers five minutes after the restart as he headed home Zielenski’s delivery from the free-kick.

AC Milan see out Atalanta

AC Milan beat Atalanta away from home, 3-2. The Rossoneri went to a quickfire start as full-back Calabria opened the scoring in the 27th second of the game. Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao added two more goals in the second half. As a result, Milan was in a comfortable 3-0 lead going late in the game. However, Atalanta gave Milan a scare as Duvan Zapata’s 86th-minute penalty and Pasalic’s stoppage-time goal pulled Atalanta back within touching distance. But Gasperini’s men ran out of time to get anything out of the game. Milan is still unbeaten in the league along with Inter Milan and Napoli and sits in second place.

Champions Inter win against Sassuolo

Inter Milan came from behind to win against a hard-fighting Sassuolo side. Domenico Berardi gave the men-in-green the lead in the 22nd minute of the game, converting from the spot. Sassuolo dominated the early proceedings as they ran at the champions. However, Edin Dzeko leveled the scores in the 58th minute of the game heading home from a superb early cross from Ivan Perisic. Meanwhile, Inter Milan got their penalty in the 77th minute of the game after Consigli brought down Dzeko inside the area.  Lautaro Martinez converted the penalty to guide Inter to their fifth win of the season. The champions currently sit in the third spot on the table.

Roma settles in the fourth spot

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Roma settled in the fourth spot after a brilliant win over Empoli at home. The Giallorossi came out 2-0 victors thanks to goals from Pellegrini and Mkhitaryan, late in the first half and early in the second half to give Roma’s fifth win of the season. Mourinho’s men returned to winning ways after losing to cross-city rivals Lazio last weekend.
