Newcastle United has been linked with former Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas. The Magpies after been taken over by the Saudi Arabian Consortium has become a club of a huge financial powerhouse in the footballing world. The consortium is considered to be worth around 260 billion pounds making it the richest club in the world.
With the newfound financial might, Newcastle will look to sign top stars in the game to improve their title credentials. Keylor Navas is one such name thrown into the mix. The Costa Rican goalkeeper who was the number one starter before the arrival of Donnarumma has been forced to rotate.
The same happened to the keeper when he was at Real Madrid. Having won three UEFA Champions League with Madrid and being a starter in each one of them Navas was forced out of the starting spot due to Courtois’s arrival at the club. The 34-year-old is facing a similar situation now at PSG. Soon he could be out of the French capital. And, Newcastle United is looking at the caliber of the Costa Rican for their new project.
Gareth Bale has also been linked with the Magpies since the takeover. Bale is out of contract at Madrid this coming summer. The Welshman can potentially seek a permanent move back to the premier league.
