PSG manager Christophe Galtier is a happy man. The 56-year-old is delighted with the team’s 2-1 win over Juventus in the group stage game of the Champions League on Tuesday. Meanwhile, reports of a rift between two of their star strikers, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, flashed in the media. This was following a heat off moment, during the clash versus Juventus.

Incidentally, Neymar appeared furious after Mbappe took a shot, not allowing him to score a goal in the 2-1 win. The Brazil striker already has temperamental issues from the past and has shared a tense rapport with players.
Neymar and Mbappe are together, says PSG boss
Talking to the media, Galtier said both stars share a very good relationship. “The relationship between Ney and Kylian is very good, and I’m not giving you the run-around,” Galtier told reporters on Friday.
The experienced coach adds the team discussed the issue and sorted out the differences. “They are together in the training exercises. They are often together in the warm-ups. Yes, there was that match situation. And I discussed it yesterday with Kylian, who I think has discussed it with Ney,” adds the coach.
“I am convinced that Kylian will make more decisive passes to Ney, as Ney is capable of making decisive passes to Kylian. But I have felt nothing negative since the game in relation to this chance,” the experienced campaigner concluded with a smile.

The inner battles between two top stars are nothing new in sports. However, several players shed their egos and play for the team’s cause, suppressing their individual interests. The fans of both superstars would hope that they continue to play the top game and support each other. Because it is the team that will benefit if the duo plays with positivity. And there are bigger battles coming ahead.
