PSG was thrown out of the Champions League by Pep Guardiola’s side 2-0 and 4-1 on aggregate last night at Etihad Stadium.
With this defeat, reports have emerged stating that Neymar is unhappy with the current situation and is looking to move back to Barcelona.
The French tabloids have called Neymar egoistical and deplorable after the defeat last night.
They believe that Neymar has failed to deliver on the objectives for which he was brought, ie. win the Champions League with PSG.
The Brazilian contract expires in 2022.
On the other hand, Barcelona will be looking to bring back the Brazilian to Camp Nou.
Both president Joan Laporta and skipper Messi has expressed their longing to reunite with the star player.
Though extension talks with PSG are going on, however, some reports from credible sources suggest that Neymar has frozen the ongoing talks and is waiting for officials from Barcelona to make a move.
It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the coming days.
