Well, the player to join Daniil Medvedev in Men’s Singles Final at the 2021 US Open was determined after the 2nd semi-final took place between Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev.

It was the No. 1 seed Serbia’s Novak Djokovic who won the thrilling semi-final encounter in five sets 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 against fourth-seeded Zverev. The match lasted for 3 hours and 33 minutes at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.

However, the stats revealed that Alexander Zverev had hit 16 Aces prevailing over Novak Djokovic’s 12. But the German had hit 8 double faults while the Serbian only 2.

The 2020 US Open Finalist, Germany’s Alexander Zverev recently won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. There he defeated Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals.

As a result, Novak Djokovic will contest for his 4th US Open title against Daniil Medvedev in the 2021 US Open Men’s Singles Final.
