Real Madrid has officially signed the German defender Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer. The deal was already done a few months ago but Real Madrid waited for this 2021-22 season to end to officially announce the Rudiger deal.
Fabrizio Romano reported in April that Real Madrid and Chelsea have agreed to a deal to sign Antonio Rudiger after the defender’s contract with the English side was running out. He has been one of the most developed men under Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel. Thus, he was one of the main defenders of the team last season. Rudiger decided to leave Chelsea at the start of this year only and then there were so many clubs interested in the central defender. But the German wanted to join the Spanish giants.
Real Madrid has won the Champions League a few days ago and they also won La Liga this season. Real has already started working for the new season as after Rudiger it is likely that the Spanish club will announce the Tchouameni deal once the negotiations with AS Monaco come to a positive end. According to Fabrizio Romano, the French midfielder is likely to join Real this summer as he has already told his teammates about his transfer.
