Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag faced media ahead of their pre-season game against Crystal Palace. The team is in Australia for their pre-season tour. The manager in the pre-match press conference talked about new structure the club will implement. He (Erik ten Hag) also revealed what he actually expects from his players.
Erik feels their team will not be same as Ajax’s as both the teams have different style of play and different set of players. He also gave clarification on why he is more keen to bring the players from Dutch league or other leagues rather then English league. Erik has a clear idea about strategy he is looking to implement. So, it seems there will not be any change in this strategy even if the team is not playing well.
“Our team will be different (to Ajax’s) because it is different players, a different type of football, that is clear. Finally it is about the players you have because I cannot change the identification of a player,” said Erik ten Hag ahead of their pre-season match against Palace on a video posted by MUTV.
Erik won two out of two games in pre-season and the fans are able to see some changes in the team’s gameplay.
