The team competes in Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International cricket matches and is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council.
Based on the recently published central contract 2023–2022, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the salaries of Pakistan’s cricketers. Three teenage cricketers are among the 20 players who have been featured on the contract list. The calendar year 2023-22 will stretch from July 1 to June 30, 2023. The most well-paid individuals in the Indian subcontinent are cricketers, who enjoy lavish lifestyles. They are paid very well considering all the work they put in on the pitch. Nonetheless, there has recently been much discussion concerning Pakistani players’ remuneration, particularly the gap in their pay. Pakistani cricketers are frequently overshadowed by other Asian cricketers with greater notoriety, while the Pakistani board is in disarray as a result of the absence of domestic matches. The key contracts for the 2023–2022 season were just made public by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Four categories have been established for the central contract. Hasan Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, and Babar Azam, the captain of the limited overs team, are among the top players to receive category A. All players with grades of A, B, C, and Developing Category have had their pay raise by 25%.

Then there are players in Category B. These athletes receive the second-highest salaries. They are paid a salary of Rs. 350,000 per month, plus monthly bonuses and any owed match money.
In Pakistan’s cricketing hierarchy, the category C players are the ones who are only hanging on by a thread. These athletes receive a monthly salary of Rs. 198,000 plus additional compensation for match costs and win bonuses.
