PAOK celebrated a triumphant journey to secure the top spot in UEFA Conference League Group G after a nail-biting clash against Eintracht Frankfurt, ending in a 2-1 victory. The pivotal second-half goals from Tomasz Kedziora and Andrija Zivkovic propelled PAOK to a well-deserved win.
From the outset, Eintracht controlled possession, with Omar Marmoush and Fares Chaibi making valiant attempts that PAOK goalkeeper Dominik Kotarski thwarted. As the first half unfolded, both teams displayed defensive resilience, keeping the action away from their respective goals.

The second half witnessed a spirited start from PAOK, as Thomas Murg’s free kick and Kedziora’s opportunistic goal in the 55th minute stunned the hosts. However, Eintracht swiftly responded, with Marmoush equalizing three minutes later.
The momentum shifted once again as Zivkovic capitalized on Trapp’s parry in the 73rd minute, securing PAOK’s lead against the run of play. Despite Eintracht’s relentless attacks, PAOK’s defense held firm, and Jakic’s late red card further complicated matters for the hosts.
PAOK’s victory solidifies their position at the top of Group G, leaving Eintracht in second place, followed by Aberdeen and Helsinki.
