Paul Pogba set to join Juventus on a free transfer

French midfielder Paul Pogba will play for his former club Juventus from next season as the deal between the player and club has been agreed.

Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United on a free transfer this summer. Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday night that Pogba is set to join his former side (Juventus) after a deal between the clubs and the player has been agreed.

Juventus do not have to pay the transfer money as this was a free transfer, they only need to pay his salary. Paul Pogba’s contract with Manchester United was over last season and he didn’t want to sign a new contract with the Premier League side. Man United tried to convince him to stay at the club but he already made up his mind.

At the start of July, Paul Pogba will fly to Italy to join Serie A side Juventus. He will also complete his medical with the club and then after signing official paperworks French-star will be announced as the new Juventus player. Juventus have got two new midfielders now as they also signed Denis Zakaria who will be joining the club this summer along with Paul Pogba.

Manchester United are still searching for Pogba’s replacement as they are heavily linked with Barcelona’s midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
