On February 8, 2025, the Haryana Steelers’ open trials will take place at HAU Hisar.
The Pro Kabaddi League season 11 winners The Haryana Steelers have opened up trials for the future Kabaddi players in an effort to grow local talent and advance the homegrown sport. The trials will take place at the Multipurpose Hall of Haryana Agricultural University in Hisar, Haryana, on February 8, 2025, from 8:30 AM.
This trial is an important step in promoting professional Kabaddi play among young people and enhancing Haryana’s sports scene. In order to create a more formidable and competitive squad for the forthcoming season, the Haryana Steelers team is excited to accept and develop new players.
“This open trial is an invitation to all aspiring players to be a part of the academy and the new Young Players Programme of the PKL Season 11 Champions,” stated Divyanshu Singh, COO of JSW Sports, who expressed his excitement for the project. Selections are frequently thought to take place behind closed doors in India.
To ensure that every worthy athlete has an opportunity solely on the basis of their abilities, we have created a democratic and equitable selection procedure as part of our academy program. Our goals are to establish a strong sports ecosystem that not only promotes Kabaddi as a sport but also fosters a sense of community in the state by giving up-and-coming talent a stage on which to display their abilities.
“We are looking forward to meeting the young and promising talents of the country and providing an opportunity for them to train with the best and possibly contribute to our quest for another title,” Haryana Steelers coach Manpreet Singh said, expressing his excitement about the impending trials. With this project, we intend to expose some of the upcoming Kabaddi stars and create a team that keeps breaking records.
