Ankush Rathee’s absence from Bengaluru Bull’s team in recent PKL matches hit headlines, leading to speculations regarding his stay with the franchise.
In PKL 12, Rathee featured in the first two matches for Bengaluru Bulls which was against Puneri Paltan and Dabang Delhi, respectively. However, he was dropped from the team in matches against U Mumba and Patna Pirates.
Now, speculations are rife that Rathee could soon be released from the Bull’s squad.

As per the latest development, the raider has unfollowed Bengaluru Bulls on Instagram ahead of their fixture against Patna Pirates. He has also taken down all posts related to the team.
Rathee, apparently, was not with the team on Saturday during Bull’s match against the Pirates. He was live on Instagram and seen travelling in a car when it is mandatory for all players to submit their phones to the league officials before entering the match arena on matchday.

The 22-year-old is said to be in his hometown, Rohtak, in Haryana, implying that he is not with the Bull’s squad presently.

When asked about Rathee’s absence in a presser, BC Ramesh, Bengaluru Bull’s coach, said, “I don’t want to say anything about it or take any names. We will see about that later. Right now, the team is playing well. We will take care of it, and our focus is now on the next match.”
Ankush Rathee has scored five points in two matches thus far in PKL 12. He bagged five tackle points in seven tackles when the team played against Puneri Paltan in their season opener. He failed to earn points against Dabang Delhi in the 26 minutes that he played.
