The Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) has entered its last leg in New Delhi. Teams will now eye to make it to the top eight to remain in contention for the title glory.
According to the revamped format introduced this season, eight teams will have a chance to qualify for the knockout stages. The top four teams will directly qualify for the Playoffs, while sides finishing between 5th and 8th will now contest Play-ins, with winners moving on to the Eliminators. The sides in 3rd and 4th position will clash in a Mini-Qualifier, while the top two play Qualifier 1, where the winner advances straight to the Final. The loser, however, gets another opportunity through Qualifier 2.
Here are the teams who could potentially qualify for the Play-offs:
Puneri Paltan (Top 4 confirmed)
Aslam Inamdar-led Puneri Paltan, with 12 wins in 15 games, currently sit on the top of the points table and have already secured a spot in the playoffs. They have been having an excellent season are one of the most favourites for winning the title.
Dabang Delhi (Top 8 confirmed)
Dabang Delhi currently occupy the second spot in the points table. They have been brilliant so far with captain Ashu Malik at the helm. They have won 12 out of the 15 games they’ve played, suffering only two losses, both by a margin of just one point. They just need one more win from three matches to confirm their place in the top four.
Telugu Titans
Telugu Titans have mostly finished in the lower half of the table in the PKL history. However, this season looks different as they have shown a significant transformation under head coach Krishan Hooda.
They have won eight of their 13 matches and currently sitting 3rd on the points table. They just need three wins from five games to secure their place in the top four.

U Mumba
U Mumba made a strong start to their campaign in PKL 12, but lost the momentum midway. However, they bounced back to remain in contention for Playoffs.
They have won seven out of the 13 matches they’ve played so far and currently occupy 4th position on the points table. They will have to win four of five matches to make it to the Playoffs.
Bengaluru Bulls
After a poor start to the season, Bengaluru Bulls turned things around as coach BC Ramesh took some bold decisions. With new faces, the team was infused with renewed energy and retuned to their winning ways.
Bulls have won seven out of the 13 matches they’ve played and currently are 5th on the points table. They need four wins in five games to reach the Playoffs.
