Premier League 2025/26 Predictions: Top 4, Title Race, Relegation Battle And More

Premier League 2025/26 Predictions

The new Premier League season is upon us, and you know what that means, hope, hype, heartbreak, and at least three managers blaming the grass by November. From title races to sack races, Golden Boots to relegation boots, here’s how we think the 2025/26 season will play out if football stays even slightly logical. Which, it won’t.

Title Race: Arsenal and City Are Back at It But Liverpool Might do the double

Pep Guardiola could manage City via FaceTime and still be two points clear by March. Arsenal, though, are no longer the cute nearly-men, they’re serious, grizzled contenders now. If their signings don’t flop, they’ll take this to the wire again.

Liverpool won the league last season and it looks like they are not ready to give up the title as they have acquired signings in the form of Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz.

Top 4: Welcome to the Fight Club

  • Chelsea: If Enzo Maresca gets this band of teenage ballers ticking, they’ll be in the top four again next season. They will be looking to continue their form into the new season, as they won the UEFA Conference League and Club Word Cup.

  • Liverpool: They will be looking to continue their form into the new season as they will be ready to defend their title with some new serious signings under Arne Slot.

  • Manchester City: Pep Guardiola’s men have will be looking to get back into the game as they struggled last season to compete for the title race but now will be ready to go for the title again after some serious signings.

  • Arsenal: Mikel Arteta and Arsenal will again be hoping to win the title this time, but the top 4 finish is almost given as they have been solid in their defence and attack in the past couple of seasons.

Golden Boot: Haaland Reloaded

Erling Haaland doesn’t care about your predictions. He’s coming back for 30+, minimum. Only injury stops him. Again.

But if you’re looking for an outside shout, Cole Palmer. He’s got pens, he’s got flair, and Chelsea’s coldest is always among goals. Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike have also entered the league alongside proven PL experienced with Isak and Mbuemo.

Golden Glove: David Raya

David Raya might finally feel like Arsenal’s greatest weapon this season. With a solid backline and less rotation, he could top the clean sheet charts.

Young Player of the Year: Palmer, Again?

Premier League 2025/26 Predictions, Cole Palmer might win the Young Player of the Season again

Kobbie Mainoo will be United’s poster boy. If they stay afloat, he’ll be central to it. Palmer can win it again though. The actual decision could depend on the end of the season when the team rankings get a buit more clear but this could be a season we might see a PL debutant player get it like Florian Wirtz.

Relegation Scrap: Leeds, Burnley, and the Wolves in Trouble

Every year, at least one newly promoted side gets a reality check from the Premier League gods. And this time, it’s looking like Leeds United and Burnley might be the ones strapped in for a long, painful survival mission.

Both clubs come in with Championship swagger but that swagger fades quickly when you’re facing Haaland on a random rainy Saturday.

Leeds, for all their historic weight and fan passion, don’t exactly have a squad that screams “mid-table comfort.” They’ll need more than Elland Road noise to survive.

Burnley return to the top flight with Vincent Kompany gone and a squad still searching for top-tier experience. Turf Moor won’t be enough if the goals dry up again.

And then there’s Wolves. They limped through the end of last season like a pub team on Sunday morning. Now they’ve lost Matheus Cunha, their top scorer, to Manchester United, and haven’t really replaced him with someone who’ll bang in 10+.

The Premier League 2025/26 season isn’t going to be normal. It never is. But with big clubs reloading, wild cards everywhere, and the usual drama guaranteed, it’s set to be another year of nonsense, narratives, and 38 weeks of fan pain and banter.

Let’s kick off.
