Indian cricket team’s head coach Rahul Dravid has been tested positive for COVID-19 as per reports. The COVID reports of the former Indian cricketer (Rahul Dravid) came on Tuesday, 23rd August. The Asia Cup is near and this is a bad news for team India. Rahul Dravid’s reign has been brilliant since he has came in the coaching role.

India have won so many series under Rahul Dravid’s coaching. This will be a blow for Indian team as they are currently preparing for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 which will be starting from 27th August. India will be playing their first game against their old rivals Pakistan cricket team on 28th August.

India will be looking to win this trophy under Rahul Dravid’s coaching and Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. Rohit Sharma has also done some great job since he has been named full-time captain of India. Rohit Sharma has also given credits to Rahul Dravid for the improvement in the team. After Asia Cup, Rahul Dravid and their men will look to lift T20I World Cup. Rahul Dravid is expected to be back in the role before Asia Cup starts.
