Only positive news for the Zidane side, Ferland Mendy and Sergio Ramos completed Monday’s training session with the rest of the squad, and both are likely to start for Zidane against Chelsea on the second leg of the UEFA Champions League. The crunch clash is tied with a 1-1 draw score. Zinedine Zidane’s men are still in contention for a place in the Champions League Final.
Yet Varane’s injury came at the worst time of the season and Carvajal potentially out for the season another setback for Zidane. And anything can happen in a single game that can decide the fate of Real Madrid for the 14-time European crown Championship.
For Real Madrid Nacho, Militao, Ramos, and Mendy will almost certainly be Real Madrid’s defensive line at Stamford Bridge.
And Italian football referee Daniele Orsato will be the referee for the return leg clash in Real Madrid Match against Chelsea in the UEFA Semi-final.
