Despite months of swirling speculation, the suspense around Martin Zubimendi’s potential move to Arsenal lingers, keeping Real Madrid fans on the edge of their seats. Martin Zubimendi’s potential move to Arsenal lingers, keeping Real Madrid fans on the edge of their seats

Zubimendi, a bright young star hailing from San Sebastian, has caught the eye of Europe’s football elite, drawing interest from clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal, and of course, Real Madrid. Though Arsenal has been ardently pursuing his signature for months, the ink is yet to dry on any contract, leaving a slim but tantalizing opening for Madrid to swoop in.

Only last summer, Liverpool nearly clinched a deal for Zubimendi by offering his 60 million Euro release clause. Yet, when Real Sociedad faced the blow of losing key players Mikel Merino and Le Normand, they managed to keep Zubimendi on board for another season to fight on the European stage. His contract remains untouched, with that enticing 60 million euro release clause still in play.

Arsenal had completed the talks as the deal was almost done which was also approved by Fabrizio Romano

Arsenal had come out earlier this month, showing that the deal was almost done which was also approved by Fabrizio Romano but as of now they have failed to put the pen down on the paper as Zubimendi is facing donuts over his future. And with real madrid now joining the race for the Spaniard, it might get difficult for the Gunners to bring him to the Emirates.

Xabi Alonso has given a list of players to Real Madrid

Xabi Alonso has given a list of players to Real Madrid management and wants the likes of Zubimendi to come to the club. He might have to face stiff competition from Tchouameni, Camavinga and Fede Valverde to play in the double pivot under Xabi Alonso but would like to stay at his home country and playing for the spanish giants would be a dream come true for him.
