Rohit Sharma and Abhishek Sharma Stay on Top in ICC Rankings Despite Pakistan’s Rise: Former Indian captain Rohit Sharma and young batting star Abhishek Sharma continue to rule the white-ball world, holding on to their number one spots in the latest ICC Players Rankings released on Wednesday, November 5.

Even though several Pakistan players have made big moves up both the T20I and ODI batting charts, the Indian duo remains firm at the top, thanks to their consistent and match-winning performances in recent months.

Rohit Sharma and Abhishek Sharma Lead the Pack

In the latest ICC T20I Batting Rankings, Indian opener Abhishek Sharma stays strong at number one with 925 rating points. Over in the ODI rankings, Rohit Sharma continues to lead with 781 points, holding on to the top spot after his brilliant run in the recent Australia series.

Pakistan’s strong run this year, winning four of their five bilateral series, including a 2-1 home win against South Africa, has helped several of their players climb the ladder in the rankings. Babar Azam moved up nine places to 30th, Saim Ayub jumped 10 spots to 39th, and Salman Agha climbed to 54th in the T20I batting list.

Varun Chakravarthy is Still the No. 1 T20I Bowler

Among bowlers, India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy continues to sit at the top of the T20I Bowling Rankings. Australia’s Josh Hazlewood also broke into the top 10 after his impressive showing against India in the ongoing five-match T20I series.

Elsewhere, Bangladesh’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman rose 13 spots to 14th, while Mahedi Hasan moved up six places to 17th. West Indies stars Jason Holder and Roston Chase also gained ground, with Holder climbing nine spots to 23rd and Chase moving up 13 places to 38th.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and West Indies Players on the Rise

Veteran Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza was one of the biggest movers, jumping an impressive 32 places to 33rd after a string of outstanding all-round performances. South Africa’s Corbin Bosch also made gains, climbing 15 spots to 38th after finishing as the leading wicket-taker in the recent T20I series against Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Salman Mirza and Faheem Ashraf also entered the top 100 with strong performances. In the T20I All-Rounder Rankings, Sikandar Raza moved up to second, Roston Chase climbed to third, while Saim Ayub remained on top after his consistent show against South Africa.

Meanwhile, in the ICC ODI Batting Rankings, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell rose to third after a stunning Player of the Series effort against England, where he scored 178 runs in three games. His teammate Rachin Ravindra also moved up to 14th, while England pacer Jofra Archer jumped to third among ODI bowlers after picking up three wickets in that series.

The latest rankings once again highlight the fierce competition across formats, but for now, Rohit and Abhishek continue to hold their ground as the world’s best in white-ball cricket.
